Mobility Coordinator 

Position Summary: 

The Mobility Coordinator is responsible for developing and coordinating transportation services to meet the mobility needs of the community, especially for senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, and low-income populations. This position works closely with community organizations, transportation providers, and the public to improve access to transportation and ensure efficient service delivery. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate transportation services with community organizations and providers. 

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to inform the public about transportation options. 

• Assist riders in understanding available transportation services and eligibility requirements. 

• Conduct needs assessments and surveys to improve services. 

• Monitor service quality and assist in resolving issues. 

• Prepare reports, maintain records, and assist with grant documentation. 

• Represent the agency at community meetings and events. 

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

• Experience in public transportation, social services, or customer service. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills. 

• Must pass a background check and drug test. 

Working Conditions: 

This position may require occasional evening or weekend work. Must be able to work in both an office environment and travel within the community for outreach and coordination efforts.
